World Parrot Benefit Concert March 3rd!

Hello fellow Lindi Fans,

Just before the Christmas Holidays we let you know about a cause Lindi feels very strongly about, The World Parrot Refuge in Vancouver. We wanted to let all you lovely people out there know that Lindi will be throwing a benefit concert for The World Parrot Refuge on March 3rd at The Supermarket(Toronto).

Some of Toronto’s finest local Talent has banded together to help the birds of The World Parrot Refuge located in Coombs BC. This facility provides sanctuary for over 700 exotic birds that have been abandoned, neglected, or abused. Some have simply outlived their owners.

Some of these birds can cost up to $500 a year to care for. The World Parrot Refuge is in need of our help!

Lindi would like all her fans out there to know about a worthy cause which she is now supporting by the name of the World Parrot Refuge.This a wonderful place that takes in abandoned PARROTS and gives them sanctuary!As you know Lindi is a bird lover herself with her own green cheek conure named Skippy.The World Parrot Refuge are always in need of donations to care for these birds,One bird can cost $500 a year to look after and they have 700 birds!

A quick news update on what’s the haps in the world of Lindi:

- Lindi was just in Nashville where she celebrated her birthday, cowrote some tunes, hung out with a bunch of cool peeps and bought a new pair of red cowboy boots!

- The EP is now available on iTunes for a measly sum of $3!

- Lindi has a full page article and photo in the JULY 09 issue of ELLE CANADA, on newstands NOW! Check it out on page 49.

- The Drifter EP got a 4/5 star review on EYE Weekly! Check out the review here!
